These drawings explore subjects and techniques which are the basis for my current work: Chambers and Entwine, two series of large-scale watercolor paintings, the first about interiors, the second pictures landscapes.

Several years ago after completing A Ruched Life (2007), an installation piece, I began working in watercolor on paper. Seven watercolor paintings of residential interiors were part of A Ruched Life. Around the Corner (2005), a group of milk-paint paintings on plywood panels depicted the architecture of industrial buildings. My interest in architecture, design, and history plays a role in most of my work--in one way or another.
